Position - Data Architect

Location - Bangalore

Experience - 9+

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing data architectures within a banking platform, with a strong emphasis on cloud technologies (preferably Google Cloud Platform), SQL, and data warehousing. This role may also include responsibilities typically associated with a Product Owner (PO), so an openness to collaborate across teams is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable data architectures for banking platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Develop and maintain data models, data flow diagrams, and architecture blueprints.
- Optimize and maintain SQL databases and data warehouses to support business operations.
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
- Support cloud-based data solutions, with a preference for GCP, and contribute to migration strategies.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to articulate data strategy and solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

- 9 to 11 years of experience in data architecture, specifically in banking or financial services.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP, but any cloud experience is acceptable).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.

Good-to-Have Qualifications:

- Experience in a Product Owner role or familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards in banking.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
