Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Discrete Event Simulation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and maintain discrete event simulation models to optimize production workflows and improve operational efficiency in semiconductor manufacturing.The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and problem-solving skill, as well as experience with digital twin platforms, DES platforms, IoT platforms, system integration, data analytics, data visualisation, and project management tools.Create efficient and effective simulation models to optimize production workflows and improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with process engineers and planners to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.Analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements to stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain discrete event simulation models to optimize production workflows and improve operational efficiency in semiconductor manufacturing.Validate models with real-world data, optimize production workflows and improve operational efficiency in semiconductor manufacturing.Analyse performance metrics and suggest improvements, collaborate with process engineers and planners.Present simulation results to stakeholders, support decision-making with scenario analysis.Requirements3-5 years of experience in simulation of OSAT or semi-fab production lines, throughput and cycle time optimization, bottleneck analysis, integration with MES and scheduling systems.Knowledge of digital twin platforms, DES platforms, IoT platforms, system integration, data analytics, data visualisation, and project management tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.Strong communication and documentation skills.B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical, Computer Science, or Equivalent.Know-how of AI-based simulation and optimization platforms, Omniverse, and Plant Simulation preferred.
