Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The experience listed below may be obtained through schoolwork, classes and project work, internships, military training, and/or work experience.Minimum Qualifications:• Candidate must be pursuing or recently completed an MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other relevant related degrees with a software focus.• A minimum of 2 years of experience programming in C/C++ or python.• A minimum of 1 year of experience in software development for any of the following areas: semiconductor devices, process or stress modeling, computational geometry, engineering computation, computational physics.Preferred Qualifications:• Research or thesis experience in semiconductor device physics and modeling expertise in particular areas of interest including quantum transport, device transport, novel transistor architectures, and process flow physics.• 4+ years of experience in software development in high performance computing, computation modeling and numerical methods.• A strong background in data structure and algorithms, and software development.• Advanced device transport, quantum effects, electronic structure, device novel device and memory operation, optoelectronics, mesh generation, software architecture and numerical methods for device problems and parallel programming.• Defect-coupled diffusion/activation, computational materials science, FEM based stress simulation, high-k/metal gate materials and interfaces, modeling of novel processes and materials, software architecture, numerical methods for process problems, three-dimension meshing and computational geometry, and parallel programming.• Publications that demonstrate expertise in such areas as device physics or process flow physics.Job Type:College GradShift:Shift 1 (India)Primary Location: India, BangaloreAdditional Locations:Business group:Intel Foundry strives to make every facet of semiconductor manufacturing state-of-the-art while delighting our customers -- from delivering cutting-edge silicon process and packaging technology leadership for the AI era, enabling our customers to design leadership products, global manufacturing scale and supply chain, through the continuous yield improvements to advanced packaging all the way to final test and assembly.
