We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled GM – Technical Accounting to join our Finance & Controlling department. This pivotal role involves overseeing core technical accounting functions, ensuring seamless monthly closures, statutory and group audits, and financial reporting in compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, and local GAAP. Your expertise will help drive our financial integrity, while your leadership will cultivate a team capable of achieving high performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting and Book ClosureLead monthly book closure and financial reporting to the group as per IFRS and company policies.Prepare annual financial statements as per Ind AS, including necessary adjustments for compliance with the Companies Act.Manage reconciliations between local GAAP, group accounting policies, and IFRS.Oversee various audits (group, statutory, and tax) and communicate key insights to management.Internal Controls and Audit ComplianceReview and maintain internal control design documents to ensure alignment with group requirements.Manage internal audits, coordinate with departments, and ensure timely closure of audit findings.Present internal audit results to management, fostering quality and compliance in audit processes.Fixed Assets AccountingEnsure statutory compliance and adherence to group guidance in fixed assets accounting.Work collaboratively with stakeholders to streamline fixed assets management and compliance.Inventory AccountingOversee inventory accounting processes in line with provision policies.Provide support to the business for effective inventory management and reporting.Team Development & Process AutomationDrive automation initiatives to enhance internal controls and reporting efficiencies.Develop dashboards, KPIs, and ensure timely submission of management reports.Build and lead a high-performing team, providing learning opportunities and fostering an environment of professional growth.
Required Qualifications & ExperienceEducation
: Chartered Accountant (CA)Experience
: 15-20 years in core accounting, financial reporting, and closing processes.Proven track record in team leadership and development.Experience in managing and executing financial projects with successful implementation.
Key Skills & ExpertiseTechnical Knowledge
: Expert in IFRS, Ind AS, Indian GAAP, statutory compliance, and audit management.Functional Expertise
: Proficient in SAP and knowledgeable in banking procedures.Soft Skills
: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team-building abilities.Industry Background
: Experience with Big 4 firms or large manufacturing companies preferred.
