Senior Cloud Data ArchitectOur organization seeks an accomplished Senior Cloud Data Architect to design, implement and oversee robust data architectures.The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in SQL, ETL/ELT, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, data warehousing concepts, medallion architecture, and data pipeline engineering.Key Responsibilities:Design end-to-end data solutions using modern cloud data platforms, especially Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics.Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple data projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and quality standards.Develop and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, and lakehouses following medallion architecture principles.Define and implement data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured).Oversee the development of ETL/ELT processes, ensuring scalability, performance, and reusability.Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and BI developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.Required Skills & Qualifications:12+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related roles.Strong hands-on experience in SQL, performance tuning, and optimization.Expertise in ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and transformation logic.Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Dataflows Gen2, OneLake, etc.).Deep knowledge of Data Warehousing principles, star/snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Azure SQL DB, Blob Storage).Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation (preferably Azure DevOps).Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Architect).Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ER/Studio, dbt).Familiarity with Python, Spark, or Scala is a plus.
