We are looking for talented and passionate Nuclear Medicine Doctors to join our growing team on a full-time basis. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnosis and Imaging:
- Perform diagnostic imaging using radiopharmaceuticals (e.g., PET CT & Gamma scans).
- Interpret imaging results to diagnose various conditions, including cancers, heart disease, infections, and neurological disorders.
- Order and oversee imaging tests such as bone scans, thyroid scans, and lung scans.
- Assess the functional and anatomical aspects of organs using radiopharmaceuticals.

2. Therapeutic Interventions:
- Administer radioactive isotopes for targeted treatments, such as in the treatment of thyroid disorders (e.g., hyperthyroidism) or cancers (e.g., prostate cancer).
- Monitor patients undergoing therapy and manage side effects.

3. Patient Care:
- Discuss results with patients and explain treatment options or diagnostic findings.
- Coordinate with other medical professionals
- Provide follow-up care and reassess treatment efficacy.

4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with radiologists and other specialists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Communicate complex medical information to patients and healthcare teams.

5. Clinical Oversight:
- Supervise and train medical staff, including technologists who perform imaging procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to radiation exposure for patients and staff.
- Educate patients and healthcare teams about the potential benefits and risks of nuclear medicine procedures.

Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DNB – Nuclear Medicine).
- Specialized Training: Completion of a residency or fellowship in nuclear medicine.
- Medical Council Registration: Must have Telangana State Medical Council Registration Certificate.

Skills:
- Expertise in the use and interpretation of nuclear imaging techniques (e.g., PET, Gamma).
- Strong understanding of radiopharmaceuticals and their application in diagnosis.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of safety protocols concerning radiation exposure.
