Position: Radiologist
Location: Hyderabad, Pune, Gulbarga, Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Tirupathi, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh,
Reports to: Medical Director / Imaging Department Head
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our team at Vijaya Diagnostics. The Radiologist will be responsible for interpreting medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to diagnose and guide treatment for a range of conditions. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care and diagnostics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Diagnostic Imaging :
Interpret and report findings from imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of results, providing clear, actionable feedback to referring clinicians.
Perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as required.
2. Patient Interaction :
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and answering their questions to ensure comfort and understanding.
Provide clinical advice to patients when required and ensure compassionate care throughout their diagnostic process.
3. Collaboration with Healthcare Teams:
Work closely with referring physicians and specialists to provide consultative support and guide treatment decisions.
Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to the overall treatment strategy for patients.
4. Quality Control and Assurance:
Maintain high-quality standards in diagnostic imaging, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, radiation protocols, and infection control.
Participate in quality control activities and ensure compliance with national and international standards (NABL, AERB).
5. Equipment Operation and Maintenance:
Operate radiological equipment and ensure its proper functioning.
Collaborate with the technical team to perform routine checks and maintenance of equipment.
6. Professional Development
Stay updated with advancements in radiology and imaging techniques through continuous education and training.
Attend relevant conferences, seminars, and workshops to enhance skills and keep up with the latest technologies.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: MD/DNB / DMRD in Radiology from a recognized university or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
Proficiency in interpreting various imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound.
Experience in interventional radiology is a plus.
Certification: Valid State Medical Council Registration is mandatory.

Proficient in operating radiology equipment and understanding imaging protocols.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
Working Conditions:

Willingness to participate in on-call duties as needed.
