Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Tester to join our team. As a Salesforce Tester, you will be responsible for testing Salesforce applications and ensuring they meet the required quality standards. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure smooth and effective delivery of Salesforce-based solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform functional and regression testing on Salesforce applications and features, ensuring they meet the business requirements.
  • Design, write, and execute test cases, scripts, and plans for Salesforce applications.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and product owners to understand application requirements and prepare test scenarios.
  • Participate in sprint planning and provide input into the testing scope and schedule.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the solution meets business requirements before deployment.
  • Perform integration testing to ensure that Salesforce integrates properly with other systems.
  • Identify, document, and track defects, working with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Report test results to stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain and update testing documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and defect logs.
  • Execute automation scripts (if applicable) for repetitive tests to improve testing efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with Salesforce platform updates and best practices.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Salesforce testing.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce applications and functionalities.
  • Experience with Salesforce environments (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning and Classic user interfaces.
  • Experience in writing and executing manual test cases and defect reporting.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce testing tools (e.g., Provar, Selenium with Salesforce).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, workflows, triggers, reports, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce deployment and release management tools (e.g., Change Sets, Salesforce DX).
  • Basic knowledge of automation testing and tools.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and participate in sprint activities.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with development and business teams.


Desirable Skills:

  • Salesforce Administrator or Developer certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator or Platform App Builder).
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium or Provar for Salesforce.
  • Experience in testing Salesforce integrations with third-party applications.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices.
