Role Overview

This role will facilitate business growth by developing and executing sales strategies across key sectors across multiple enterprise sectors. The incumbent will be based in Chennai and will build and manage a strong sales pipeline, acquire new customers, and maintain key accounts. This role involves engaging with C-suite executives, understanding their needs, and positioning our solutions as business enablers.

You will manage the entire sales cycle, collaborate with internal teams, and stay updated on market trends. This is a high-impact role in a rapidly growing company, offering excellent opportunities for career growth. The ideal candidate is a results-driven sales leader with proven experience in data center sales or enterprise IT, strong client relationships, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

·      Driving Opportunities & Execution: Develop and implement sales to meet or exceed revenue targets. Identify high-growth sectors and potential clients, and build a strong sales pipeline.

·      Customer Acquisition & Retention: Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing clients across a wide range of industries (e.g., financial services, telecom, retail, government) to drive new business and retain key accounts.

·      Engage with C-Level Executives: Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and C-suite executives to understand their needs and position the company's offerings as strategic enablers of their business success.

·      Sales Process Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure, including pipeline management, forecasting, and tracking of sales activities via CRM systems.

·      Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed client expectations.

·      Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer requirements. Use this knowledge to develop competitive advantages and adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Preferred Candidate

Education

·      Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

·      Preferred: Additional certifications in sales, marketing, or technology-related fields are a plus.

Experience

·      Required: Around 15 years of experience in a senior sales role, with a proven track record in driving enterprise sales and managing complex sales cycles.

·      Preferred: Experience in the data center, or similar industries. A strong network within these industries is preferred.

Skills

·      Sales Expertise: In-depth experience with consultative sales, solution selling, and managing high-value accounts.

·      Client Engagement: Proven ability to develop relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers.

·      Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to simplify complex solutions and present them effectively to non-technical and senior business audiences.

·      CRM & Reporting: Proficiency in using CRM tools to track sales progress, manage pipelines, and report on performance metrics.

·      Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of data center operations, infrastructure, and the challenges clients face with scaling IT infrastructure and cloud solutions.
