Project Governance SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced Project Governance Specialist to lead project governance, contractual compliance, and process improvement initiatives within large-scale government programs.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in project governance frameworks, contract management, RFP processes, and Business Process Reengineering (BPR), with a proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder government projects.Establish and manage project governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and review frameworks.Monitor adherence to project plans, timelines, budgets, and compliance standards.Track project performance metrics and ensure alignment with program objectives and KPIs.Contractual Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to all contractual terms and obligations between government and vendor entities. Identify, track, and mitigate risks related to scope, cost, and delivery. Liaise with legal and procurement teams to ensure compliance with government norms and contractual frameworks.Draft, review, and evaluate RFPs, RFIs, and tender documents.Support bid evaluation, vendor selection, and contract finalization processes.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.Bid Evaluation and Contract ManagementLead the evaluation of bids, select vendors, and finalize contracts. Ensure that all contractual terms and obligations are met. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders.Develop process documentation, SOPs, and implementation roadmaps.Stakeholder Management & CoordinationAct as a key interface between government departments, vendors, and internal project teams.Required Skills and QualificationsWe seek candidates with strong understanding of project governance frameworks and PMO best practices. Experience in contract management and government procurement norms is essential. Demonstrated experience in Business Process Reengineering and process optimization is also required.Certification in PMP / PRINCE2 / ITIL / Six Sigma will be an added advantage.BE/BTech / MCA qualification is necessary for this role.Key Responsibilities:Project Governance & Oversight: Contractual Compliance & Risk Management: RFP & Procurement Support: Business Process Reengineering (BPR): Stakeholder Management & Coordination: Our Ideal Candidate Has:Expertise in contract management and government procurement norms.Proven ability to manage large-scale government or PSU projects.Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.Strong knowledge of MS Office, Project Management tools (MS Project / Primavera), and reporting dashboards.
