Accounting ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of our organization, ensuring that all accounts are up-to-date and accurately reflected.Responsibilities:Finalization of Accounts: Ensure all accounts are finalized in a timely manner and in accordance with company policies.Prepare Financial Statements: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.Month/Year End Journal Entries: Perform month-end and year-end journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.Payroll Compliance and Payroll Returns Filings (940/941): Manage payroll compliance and ensure timely filing of 940/941 returns.Sales Tax Working and Sales Tax Return Filing: Oversee sales tax working and ensure timely filing of sales tax returns.Client Service Excellence: Ensure clients consistently receive service excellence in line with our service standards.Training and Certification: Participate in external and internal training as required, and certify in any relevant software.Workflow Monitoring: Review workflow of different clients independently and maintain a system of monitoring the workflow.New Client Onboarding: Onboard new clients' accounts and assist team members as needed.Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of individuals consisting of Associates, Senior Associates & Team Leads.Engagement Issues: Identify and assist in the solution of engagement technical issues, anomalies, and non-routine items.Project Management: Responsible for project management, quality control, review of deliverables, and embedding the principles of exceptional client service.Qualifications:7+ Years of Experience in US Accounting: Having extensive experience in US accounting, including financial statement preparation and analysis.MS Office Proficiency: Conversant with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook.Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Client Service Skills: Must have excellent client service skills, being responsive to clients.Analytical and Organizational Skills: Highly motivated, self-learner, problem solver, with outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills.Cloud Accounting Solutions: Experience using cloud accounting solutions including QB, Xero, Sage, and Accounting CS.Team Leadership: Minimum experience of handling a team for 3+ years.Direct US Client Coordination: Experience in direct US client coordination.US GAAP Accounting Rules: Exposure and basic understanding of US GAAP accounting rules.
