Senior FP&A AnalystThis role involves being part of a global client's financial planning and analysis team at HCL.The desired candidate should have at least 3-12 years of working experience in financial planning & analysis and accounting roleThey must have some experience in independent end to end month end closing and reportingThe ideal candidate must have experience in Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Management ReportingAdvance Excel, Power Point knowledge and working experience is mandatoryGood knowledge and working experience on PeopleSoft will be preferredCandidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in hospitality / entertainment industry can be added advantageKey ResponsibilitiesProduce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting and detailed explanations/commentaries of key business driversEvaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts. Perform drill downs in financial data, data mining and business intelligenceAnalyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements, understating and presentation of key business driversPreparing ad hoc financial/management reports by collecting, formatting, analyzing and explaining information from various sub-systems and drill downs into financial dataStrong business acumen, accounting skills, a go getter attitude, & out of the box thinkingAnalyze & evaluate financial data and create financial models for decision supportRequirementsAt least 3-12 years of experience in financial planning & analysis and accounting roleIndependent end to end month end closing and reporting experienceBudgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Management Reporting experienceAdvance Excel, Power Point knowledgePeopleSoft knowledge preferredPreferred SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExperience in hospitality / entertainment industry
