Job Purpose

The Manager - Digital Marketing is responsible for leading the end-to-end digital marketing efforts for the Executive Education (Exec Ed) programs at ISB. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, agile self-starter who excels in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive digital marketing activities to enhance brand visibility, Lead Generation, and ensure the achievement of cohort size, quality, and revenue goals.


Job Outline


The incumbent will oversee the full spectrum of digital marketing activities—including performance marketing, organic search, and social media—for the ISB Executive Education (EE) programs. The primary objective is to generate candidate interest and meet the program’s enrollment targets in a cost-effective manner. To achieve this, the candidate will be required to strategize, develop, and implement digital marketing plans that leverage all available opportunities, budget, and resources within the executive education. This includes collaborating with other departments, alumni, and current students to enhance brand equity while maintaining a strong focus on business objectives. The incumbent will manage the online marketing strategy, plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, and design, maintain, and provide content for the programs. A key responsibility will be structuring effective digital marketing campaigns, managing the lead conversion process, and facilitating the admissions process. The role requires close monitoring of all digital marketing activities, tracking their effectiveness, and making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal outcomes. fThe candidate must stay informed about competitive offerings in the market, both domestic and international, and suggest strategic adjustments periodically to maintain ISB’s competitive edge.


Success in this role will be measured by clear, defined, and measurable outcomes as detailed in individual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), which are formulated annually.


Job Specification:

Knowledge / Education

Management education from a reputed institute

Courses in digital automation/ martech will be an added advantage

Specific Skills

  • Responsible for the overall online marketing strategy, including planning, managing, and executing digital marketing campaigns from start to finish.
  • Develop performance and social media campaigns and strategies for the programs, including budget planning, content creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital marketing platforms.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor effective social media marketing campaigns.
  • Possess a deep understanding of channel-specific marketing strategies and execute campaigns tailored to specific platforms such as google, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Quora.
  • Identify emerging trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies, and explore innovative ways to automate marketing efforts and the overall admissions process.
  • Lead the analytics and reporting functions for digital campaigns, focusing on optimization and providing regular reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Establish best practices for the use of data and analytics to assess marketing and campaign effectiveness and oversee the engagement with digital marketing agencies.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve organizational goals and objectives.


Desirable Experience

  • 7 - 10 years experience in digital marketing
  • In-depth experience of social media marketing
  • Martech experience and digital automation experience is a major plus

3 Automation, reporting and analytics - 20%

4 To monitor and oversee the budgets of the assigned programmes - 15%

The applicant is expected to be comfortable with Social Media platforms and analytics. It would be helpful if the applicant has exposure to Adobe Suite of products and other martech tools, to improve efficiencies.
