You'll be working on complex technical problems that will involve detailed analytical skills and analysis. This will be done in conjunction with fellow engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders. To be successful as a Senior Technical Lead you should have experience with:Essential Skills Lead the design, development, and upkeep of automation frameworks and scripts, focusing on Java and object-oriented programming.Oversee backend automation using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, API testing tools (Rest Assured/Postman), and work with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and message validation in Java.Utilize expertise in test design patterns, testing methods, API/database testing (SQL), and thorough test planning and execution.Support, maintain, and improve automated testing across development, system testing, and regression cycles.Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI) and handle version control with Git.Develop and manage test cases based on business and technical requirements, analyze outcomes, identify defects, and work with developers for root cause analysis.Preferred skills include knowledge of BDD/TDD, experience with microservices or distributed systems, financial services or payments, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Kafka, cloud technologies, and the payments industry.Exhibit strong stakeholder management, define tasks, and set expectations.Some other highly valued skills include:Experience with Kafka/ActiveMQ or other message brokers for event-driven communicationFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity with utilizing Agile Development methodologies, Test Driven Development and Continuous DeliveryDevops knowledge with experience in tools like docker, OpenShift, Kibana, app dynamics and GitLab pipelinesYou may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role is based out of Pune location.
