Job Title: Insurance Claims SpecialistThis role requires a skilled professional to provide technical support to internal clients, including liaising with insurers and disseminating client needs.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Ongoing claims data analysis and loss summariesFollowing up on claim assignments with insurersGenerating Acord applications as requestedIssuing confirmation of coverage and other insurance documentsExecuting routine policy changes with insurersBilling policies according to the billing worksheetFollowing up on the timely issuance of insurance policies and auditsReviewing policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracyPreparing renewal kits, proposals, and quarterly review presentations as requiredUpdating the operating platform with underwriting dataCollaborating with account executives in assembling marketing submissionsIssuing renewal certificates, automobile identification cards, and confirmation of coverage lettersAssisting with determining driver eligibilityDocument managementAssigned projectsRequirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceProficient in MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint)1-3 years of account management experience in a commercial brokerage environmentA history of working in a team environmentPrevious exposure to property and casualty terms/concepts preferredAbility to read and interpret contractual language/financial statements preferredKey Skills:Demonstrates acceptable math, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsProactive, organized approach to multitasking and prioritizationEffectively manages time and consistently meets deadlinesAble to break down problems and analyze for possible solutionsAble to grow and understand key business drivers; uses this knowledge in own workThis is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in insurance administration.
