Construction Project Lead

Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineer to lead daily construction activities and ensure that site works meet stringent standards.Main Responsibilities:Supervise and control day-to-day site operations to guarantee efficient project progress.Execute construction tasks in accordance with approved plans, technical specifications, and safety protocols.Plan and coordinate daily and weekly work schedules, manpower, and material requirements in collaboration with engineers.Monitor and optimize the utilization of resources, including labor, machinery, and materials.Verify levels, alignments, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, and finishing work.Ensure adherence to quality standards and company safety policies.Maintain accurate Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and other site documentation for senior management review.Collaborate with subcontractors, labor teams, and engineers to resolve site issues and enhance productivity.Determine material requirements based on daily and weekly targets; monitor usage and minimize waste.Maintain a safe working environment, adhere to PPE guidelines, and enforce housekeeping practices at all times.SUPPORT AND DEVELOP JUNIOR STAFF TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE SITE OPERATIONS.Required Skills:Ability to read and interpret drawings, providing clear instructions to workers.Basic proficiency in MS Excel and reporting formats.Strong leadership, communication, and supervision skills.Commitment to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
