Position Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior SEO Specialist to join the Earthside Farms marketing team. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in search engine optimization and a proven track record of driving organic traffic growth, improving search rankings, and increasing online sales. Familiarity with the snacks or direct-to-consumer industry in the United States is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:


  • SEO Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and increase website traffic.
  • Keyword Research: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify opportunities and optimize content for high-performing keywords.
  • On-Page Optimization: Optimize website content, meta descriptions, headers, and images to align with SEO best practices.
  • Technical SEO: Audit and enhance the technical performance of the website, addressing site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawl errors, and indexing issues.
  • Content Strategy Collaboration: Work with content creators to develop engaging and SEO-friendly blog posts, landing pages, and product descriptions.
  • Backlink Strategy: Develop and execute a link-building strategy to enhance domain authority and referral traffic.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms. Provide detailed reports on KPIs such as organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
  • Competitor Analysis: Stay ahead of competitors by analyzing their SEO strategies and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Local SEO: Optimize the brand’s local SEO presence for increased visibility in local searches, particularly relevant for retail store distribution.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and algorithm changes, ensuring strategies remain effective and compliant with search engine guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Partner with agencies, graphic designers, and the broader marketing team to ensure cohesive implementation of SEO strategies.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of advanced experience as an SEO expert in the marketing field.
  • Proven success in increasing organic traffic, improving search rankings, and driving online sales.
  • Experience with the snacks or direct-to-consumer industry in the United States is a plus.
  • Expertise in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Moz.
  • Strong understanding of technical SEO, including HTML, schema markup, and website architecture.
  • Experience with managing and configuring Shopify.
  • Ability to analyze data and present actionable insights to executives and team members.
  • Proficiency in conducting and implementing keyword research and on-page optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high proficiency in English, as the role requires advanced communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for health-conscious brands and snacks, with an understanding of the consumer market.


Expected Compensation: $600 - $1,100 per month, depending on experience and expertise.
