Job TitleFinancial AssociateJob DescriptionThis role focuses on supporting the financial operations of a growing consulting organization. The position requires excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients.The Financial Associate will be responsible for collecting, validating, and preparing general ledgers, invoices, payroll journals, contracts, and other accounting records. They will also prepare accurate cost reports using Microsoft Excel templates.In addition, the associate will review and validate cost reports prepared by other team members to ensure correctness and consistency. They will also prepare tax credit and grant forms, as well as assist management with collecting government grant information and creating financial reports using Microsoft Excel.Required Skills and QualificationsMinimum of 2-year work experience in a similar business management positionExcellent interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to solicit the right information from clientsExcellent attention to details and the ability to spot inconsistencies and inaccuraciesHigh Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelQuick learner – ability to understand the business process planning, implementation, and trackingGood organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time, occasionally with strict deadlinesOutgoing, positive, proactive, and self-motivated individual with the ability to work independentlyAbility to provide feedback to the rest of the organizationBenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to advance your career in Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Business Management.
