Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Costing Analyst to join our team. This role will be responsible for transitioning BU level costing activities to finance CoE, establishing processes for analysis of variances, and providing business insights to reduce variances compared to established standards.The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience with SAP product costing and end-to-end process knowledge. You will be working closely with various stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes.To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of costing principles, experience with SAP MM and PP modules, and proficiency with spreadsheet applications such as Excel.In addition to your technical skills, you will also need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across different levels of the organization.If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about costing and analysis, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Key ResponsibilitiesTransition of BU level costing activities to finance CoEEstablish processes for analysis of variances and provide business insights to reduce variances compared to established standardsAnalyze procurement transactions and identify causes for price varianceReview exceptions and abnormal variances and liaise with markets to take corrective actionFactory variance analysis and consolidationDevelop reports that provide insights into price and factory variancesRequirementsWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in accounting and experience with SAP product costing and end-to-end process knowledge.Certified/Qualified Accountant: An accountant certified by a professional accounting body (Chartered accountant or Cost and Management Accountant)University DegreeA minimum of eight years of post-qualification work experience with a manufacturing organisationMinimum of six years hands on experience with SAP product costing and end to end process knowledgeKnowledge on SAP MM and PP modules.
