Are you looking for a challenging role in construction management? We are seeking an experienced Jr. Civil Engineer to oversee daily construction activities and ensure that site works are carried out as per drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and control day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth progress of work, maintain accurate records and submit reports as needed.Execute construction works as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and method statements, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance.Plan daily and weekly work schedules, manpower, and material requirements in coordination with engineers, promoting efficiency and minimizing delays.Monitor and ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials, identifying areas for cost reduction and process improvement.Check and verify levels, alignments, shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, and finishing work, ensuring consistency with company standards and industry best practices.Ensure quality of work and compliance with company standards and safety norms, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.Maintain and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and other site documentation to the Senior Engineer or Project Manager, facilitating informed decision-making and effective project execution.Coordinate with subcontractors, labor teams, and engineers to resolve site issues and maintain productivity, fostering strong relationships and open communication.Plan and report material requirements based on daily and weekly targets, monitor usage and minimize wastage, promoting responsible resource allocation.Ensure proper housekeeping, safety measures, and strict PPE compliance at all times, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.Guide and support junior supervisors and foremen for efficient site operations, providing training and mentorship opportunities for professional growth.Skills Required:Ability to read and interpret drawings and give clear instructions to workers, possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Basic proficiency in MS Excel and reporting formats, with experience in data analysis and presentation.Strong leadership, communication, and supervision abilities, with a proven track record of managing projects and teams.Commitment to quality, safety, and timely completion of work, demonstrating a customer-focused approach and attention to detail.
