Expert CNC Programmer

Job Summary:The position of Senior Esprit CAM Programmer is available for an expert in CNC programming and machining setup. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Esprit CAM software, horizontals, 5-axis milling, and mill/turn multi-task operations.Key Responsibilities:Program Development: Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using Esprit CAM for various machine tools.Machining Setup: Perform precise CNC machine setups to ensure accurate program execution.Collaboration: Collaborate with operators to validate program accuracy and resolve any issues that may arise.Engineering Support: Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications to inform CNC program development.Fixtures and Tooling: Design custom work holding fixtures and select appropriate tooling for each job to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to reduce cycle times and improve overall efficiency.Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to CNC programmers and setup machinists to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.Documentation: Maintain accurate revision control and documentation for all CNC programs and tooling.Troubleshooting: Proactively troubleshoot programming or process inefficiencies to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.Required Skills and Qualifications:Extensive experience with Esprit CAM softwareKnowledge of CNC programming principles and practicesAbility to interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical drawingsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExperience with mill/turn multi-task operations and 5-axis millingUnderstanding of CNC machine setup proceduresBenefits:A competitive salary and benefits packageA collaborative and dynamic work environmentOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesA chance to work on challenging projects and contribute to the company's growth and successOther Information:Must be proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specificationsMust be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of timeMust be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
