Cyber Security ExpertThe position of Cyber Security Expert involves safeguarding the organization's digital infrastructure by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security systems.Key responsibilities include:Developing and deploying cybersecurity technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection solutions, and security information and event management tools.Implementing security controls for cloud, network, application, and endpoint environments to prevent data breaches and cyber attacks.Establishing and maintaining secure system configurations and hardening guidelines to minimize vulnerabilities.Monitoring security alerts and logs to detect suspicious activities and potential security threats.Investigating security incidents and leading response efforts to mitigate damage and ensure business continuity.Conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to address security gaps and weaknesses.Performing regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing to identify and remediate security risks.Collaborating with IT and engineering teams to address identified vulnerabilities and implement security patches.Managing and updating the organization's risk register to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.Developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.Ensuring adherence to industry-recognized standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.Providing security awareness training to employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity.Overseeing identity and access management tools and enforcing least-privilege access controls to protect sensitive data.Managing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, and privileged access management solutions to enhance security and reduce risk.
