Job SummaryThe Cybersecurity Threat Mitigator role is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining robust security systems to safeguard computer networks, applications and sensitive data.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and deploy advanced cybersecurity technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection and security information and event management tools.Implement and manage security controls across cloud, network, application and endpoint environments ensuring best practices are adhered to.Design and maintain secure system configurations and hardening guidelines.Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs to identify potential threats.Investigate security incidents and lead response efforts to minimize impact.Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative measures to mitigate future risks.Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify areas of improvement.Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities and maintain a comprehensive risk register.Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and standards aligned with regulatory requirements (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).Manage Identity and Access Management tools ensuring least privilege access controls are enforced.Oversee Multi-Factor Authentication, Single Sign-On and privileged access management solutions.Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain secure environments and ensure business continuity.Required Skills and QualificationsOur ideal candidate will possess:Extensive experience in cybersecurity threat mitigation, incident response and security governance.Proven expertise in developing and deploying advanced security technologies.Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations and industry standards.Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.BenefitsWe offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.
