Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Job Description: The Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical implementation. This role involves engaging with stakeholders, gathering and documenting requirements, supporting product development, and ensuring our client's products align with market demands and business goals. Preference will be given to candidates with an understanding of media workflows (Playout, FAST, OTT) and digital media technologies. Key Responsibility:Gather detailed requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure stakeholder alignment and understanding. Clearly and comprehensively document requirements to facilitate effective communication and implementation. Develop and maintain documentation standards to ensure consistency and clarity. Identify discrepancies between current product capabilities and market or customer requirements. Analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and new feature development. Guide the development team to ensure product alignment with business needs. Define acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements to ensure product quality. Help prioritize the product backlog to ensure timely and effective product development. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate that the product meets business needs. Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical requirements. Assist in developing test plans and cases to ensure comprehensive testing and validation. Understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to inform product strategy. Contribute to the product roadmap to ensure alignment with business goals and market demands. Communicate the value proposition of new features or products to stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to facilitate effective communication. Analyze and improve internal business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. Plan deployments, considering the unique challenges of different customer environments. Ensure SaaS products meet data security and compliance requirements to protect customer data. Work with customers to document their specific customization needs for tailored solutions. Help design and refine subscription models to ensure alignment with market demands. Develop compelling content for a wide range of stakeholders. Interact with customers to gather feedback on current products and understand their pain points. Analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements and new feature development. Head Count: 1 Knowledge: Familiarity with software development processes and exposure to media workflows and processes. Skills: Strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving abilities, basic project management skills, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. Qualifications: 6 to 10 years of experience with at least 3 years in a BA role for product business in the media tech domain.
