Lead - HR Centre of Excellence (CoE)
Location: Pune, India
Exp Level – 14-18 years (with 5+ years in HR-CoE)
Job Summary: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of HR Centre of Excellence (CoE) to lead their HR functions with a primary focus on Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD), Employee Engagement, Performance Management System (PMS), Compensation & Benefits and Compliance & Payroll. The ideal candidate will have over 14-18 years of core HR experience in the engineering / Manufacturing sector and currently hold a leadership role. This role will be pivotal in driving our HR strategy, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and enhancing employee engagement to achieve organizational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Organizational Development (L&OD):
Develop and implement comprehensive L&OD strategies to support the company's growth and employee development.
Design and deliver leadership development programs, workshops, and training sessions.
Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of L&OD initiatives and programs.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organization.
Employee Engagement:
Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives to improve workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
Conduct regular employee engagement surveys, analyse results, and implement action plans.
Promote open communication and feedback channels between employees and management.
Lead initiatives to enhance employee well-being and work-life balance.
Performance Management System (PMS):
Oversee the design, implementation, and management of the Performance Management System.
Ensure alignment of PMS with organizational goals and objectives.
Provide training and support to managers and employees on the PMS process.
Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Compensation & Benefits:
Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure compensation and benefits packages are competitive.
Oversee the administration of compensation programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and incentives.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits. 5. Human Resource Business Partnering:
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with senior leaders and department heads.
Provide strategic HR support and guidance to business units to achieve organizational objectives.
Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and challenges and deliver effective HR solutions.
Ensure alignment of HR strategies with business goals and objectives.
Additional Responsibilities:
Head CoE functions including Total Rewards, Talent, Learning & Development (L&D), Engagement, Workplace Culture, and Wellbeing.
Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Implement HR policies, processes, and operations to enhance organizational efficiency.
Utilize HRMS and HR tools to manage and analyse HR data effectively.
Lead green field projects, business transformations, scaling-up, and Organizational Development (OD) initiatives.
Provide dashboards and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all human resources-related matters.
Qualifications:
Post-graduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Over 14 - 18 years of core HR experience in the engineering / Manufacturing sector.
Proven track record in a people/team leadership role.
Deep knowledge of business partnering, HR policies/processes, operations, and business strategy.
Strong exposure to compensation/rewards, dashboards/analytics, HRMS, and HR tools.
Hands-on experience in green field projects, business transformations, scaling-up, and OD.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Preferences:
Preference for candidates who can join earlier.
Additional preference for candidates with a proven track record in implementing successful L&OD and employee engagement initiatives.
