We seek a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a Trainee Assistant Project Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in project management across various domains, including accounting, finance, and other business areas.

As a Trainee Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with seasoned project managers and cross-functional teams to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of diverse projects. This role will give you a solid foundation in project management principles and practices while exposing you to real-world challenges and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Assist in developing detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Learn to utilize industry-standard tools and software to create and maintain project schedules.
  • Support the development of work breakdown structures (WBS) for various projects.
  • Contribute to identifying and documenting project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Assist in tracking project progress against established timelines and milestones.
  • Learn to identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success.
  • Help maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and change logs.
  • Support the creation and updating of project dashboards and performance metrics.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:Assist in coordinating effective communication between team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to the preparation of meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Support the development of clear and concise project presentations and reports for various audiences.
  • Learn to manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns under guidance.
  • Financial Management:Assist in preparing accurate project budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Help track project expenses and variances from the approved budget.
  • Learn to create basic financial reports and cost analyses.
  • Support the development of project invoicing and billing documentation.
  • Tender and Proposal Support:Assist in gathering and organizing relevant information for tender responses and project proposals.
  • Help review and analyze tender documents to ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Support the development of compelling proposal content, including technical and financial sections.
  • Learn to create basic pricing models and cost estimates for project bids.
  • Accounting and Finance Projects:Gain exposure to accounting-specific projects, such as financial system implementations or process improvements.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets for accounting-related projects.
  • Support data analysis and interpretation for informed financial decision-making.
  • Help coordinate with finance teams to ensure project alignment with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:Work collaboratively with various departments to gather necessary information and resources for projects.
  • Learn to facilitate effective communication among different teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist in coordinating project activities across multiple functional areas.
  • Continuous Improvement:Participate in post-project reviews to identify valuable lessons learned.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for process improvements and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging project management methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Recent graduates or individuals with up to 1 year of relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, or Asana) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is beneficial.

This position is based in Patna, Bihar. Candidates must be willing to work from our Patna office and occasionally travel within the city for project-related activities.
