Enterprise Data Platform AdministratorWe are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Platform Administrator to implement and maintain the Databricks platform on AWS, Azure, or GCP. The ideal candidate has a passion for working in an agile environment and experience supporting the Databricks platform on these cloud services.Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Databricks platform, including workspace setup, user and group management, access control, and security configurations. They will also provide technical support to data engineering, data science, and application teams, perform restores/recoveries, troubleshoot service issues, and resolve platform-related problems.Key Responsibilities:Implement and maintain the Databricks platform, including workspace setup, user and group management, access control, and security configurations.Provide technical support to data engineering, data science, and application teams. Perform restores/recoveries, troubleshoot service issues, and resolve platform-related problems.Install, configure, and maintain Databricks clusters and workspaces. Monitor and manage cluster performance, resource utilization, and platform costs.Implement and manage access controls and security policies to protect sensitive data. Ensure compliance with relevant data governance and regulatory requirements.Manage and maintain connections between Databricks and other data sources like Snowflake. Optimize data pipelines and workflows.Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for platform provisioning and routine tasks using Terraform.Required Skills:3+ years of production support experience for the Databricks platform.Terraform, AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services, Databricks administrationAWS IAM, VPC, private endpoints, firewalls, S3, and knowledge on how Databricks integrates with themMLflow, Workflows, Databricks Asset BundlesDatabricks REST API: For automation, scripting, and integrationdbx CLI: For CI/CD integrationDelta Live Tables (DLT): For managing streaming and batch pipelinesSQL + PySpark skills to debug and support.Preferred Skill: Databricks certification
