Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to assist our project engineers with the design and drafting of site servicing plans, site grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, pre- and post-development drainage plans; calculations for stormwater management, functional servicing and floodplain cut and fill analysis.This role is integral to the preparation of land development for residential, commercial and industrial projects.The successful candidate will play a crucial part in assisting project engineers with the creation of detailed designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.Required Skills and QualificationsKey Responsibilities:Complete design drawings in accordance with local standards and guidelines, and project specifications.Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.Coordinate project drawings with project engineer, and others.Ensure that the projects needs are met in a timely and effective manner.Work under the direction of senior engineer working with team.Provide support in the design, drafting, modification and evaluation of civil engineering for land development projects.Experience and Qualifications:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably from a consulting engineering office environment.Bachelor of Engineering in civil or related qualifications.Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is a mandatory requirement, along with strong computer software skills in MS Word and Excel, and PDF viewer.Familiarity with various municipal & regional design and drafting standards and guidelines in Ontario, Canada.Experience in preliminary and detailed design drawing preparation associated with land development projects, including site servicing, site grading, stormwater management and floodplain management.Technical Skills:Site servicing, including water mains, sanitary sewers and storm sewers, storm drainageSite gradingsEarthworks cut and fill material estimatesCreating pipe system networksGenerating plans and profiles, cross section views,
