Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Designer, you will play a key role in assisting Project Engineers with design and drafting of site servicing plans, site grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and pre- and post-development drainage plans.Your responsibilities will include:Completing design drawings in accordance with local standards and guidelines, and project specifications.Preparing preliminary and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.Coordinating project drawings with project engineers and other stakeholders.Ensuring that projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner.Working under the direction of senior engineers and as part of a dynamic team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, preferably from a consulting engineering office environment, and excellent knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Additionally, they should be proficient in MS Word and Excel, and have experience in land development projects including site servicing, site grading, stormwater management, and floodplain management.
