Accounting Manager Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.Responsibilities:Finalize accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Manage month-end and year-end journal entries, ensuring timely and accurate completion.Maintain payroll compliance and prepare payroll returns (940/941) and sales tax working and returns filings.Deliver exceptional client service, ensuring clients receive high-quality support and adhere to our service standards.Participate in external and internal training, achieving certification in relevant software applications.Review workflow processes for multiple clients, implementing monitoring systems to ensure efficiency.Onboard new clients and assist team members with account setup and guidance.Contribute to the training of team members, promoting knowledge sharing and development.Lead a team of Associates, Senior Associates, and Team Leads, providing guidance and mentorship.Identify and resolve technical issues, anomalies, and non-routine items affecting client engagements.Oversee project management, quality control, review of deliverables, and embedding client service principles.Qualifications:7+ years of experience in US accounting.Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong client service skills, responsive to client needs.Highly motivated, self-learning, problem-solving individual.Ongoing analytical, organizational, and project management skills.Experience using cloud accounting solutions, including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Accounting CS.A minimum of 3+ years of team handling experience.Direct US client coordination experience.Basic understanding of US GAAP accounting rules.
