Financial Account Manager RoleThis position is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial accounting functions within an organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction accounting/contractor accounting, with knowledge of percentage completion method of accounting and project profitability.Ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain fiscal discipline, and support the overall success of construction projects.Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and available for tax preparers and auditors.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.Provide management with vital information for decision-making.Oversee the use of Yardi, a Property and Accounting software.Should have knowledge of preparing project profitability reports and percentage of completion methods.The selected candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment. They will be able to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and ensure that financial processes are aligned with organizational goals.Key Responsibilities:Fundamental understanding of GAAP/IFRS principles and their application in construction accounting.Experience with Yardi software or similar property and accounting systems.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders.Organized and efficient approach to tasks, ensuring timely completion of projects.Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and supportive work environment.
