Key Responsibilities:


Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement the financial strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on both short-term and long-term growth plans.
  • Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
  • Should have been through SME listing

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Analyze financial results and provide insights to senior management.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and manage financial risks to safeguard the company’s assets.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations.

Treasury and Cash Management:

  • Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Optimize the company’s capital structure and financing arrangements.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high levels of performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in financial processes and practices.

Corporate Governance:

  • Ensure that the company’s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
  • Work with external auditors and ensure annual auditing is completed effectively.

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Support and drive strategic initiatives such as mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.
  • Provide financial leadership in negotiating major contracts and agreements.
