Job Title: Senior Renewable Energy Project DirectorAt the forefront of our company's renewable energy endeavors, we seek a visionary leader to spearhead large-scale project execution.Job Purpose:The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and driving project outcomes that align with our business objectives in the wind renewable sector.Key Responsibilities:Oversee entire project lifecycles including planning, engineering, execution, commissioning, and handover for multiple renewable energy projects across locations.Ensure timely delivery while adhering to national and international quality, safety, and performance standards.Coordinate closely with stakeholders to acquire land, resolve right-of-way issues, and obtain necessary approvals.Direct and mentor project teams to facilitate seamless execution and collaboration with various departments.Review and approve project designs, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation plans to ensure robust governance and compliance frameworks.Monitor project cash flows, budget vs. actuals, and take corrective actions to protect profitability and returns.Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, vendors, consultants, investors, lenders, and regulatory authorities.Requirements:Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; an MBA is desirable but not mandatory.They must have at least 15 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 10 years in senior project management roles within the renewable energy sector (including solar, wind, hydro, and green hydrogen).Proven track records of delivering large-scale utility or industrial renewable projects are essential, along with expertise in project planning and execution, renewable technologies, power evacuation systems, CAPEX/OPEX budgeting, and project finance fundamentals.Leadership skills, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities are vital, as is high resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
