Job Description Data Governance Expertise Strong knowledge of governance practices, policies, and stewardship to ensure data quality and compliance. Master Data Management Platforms Deep hands-on experience in IBM MDM AE/SE or Product Master. Database Expertise Proficient with Db2, Oracle, and MSSQL (schema design, optimization, onboarding source systems, including PostgreSQL). Programming & Big Data Strong coding knowledge in Java, Python, and Spark for MDM customization, APIs, and large-scale data processing. SQL & Optimization Expertise in SQL, stored procedures, query rewriting, and performance tuning for match/merge and ETL jobs. MDM Core Capabilities Experience with data standardization, matching rules, survivorship configuration, and hierarchy/relationship management. Real-Time & CDC Understanding of Change Data Capture and near real-time synchronization with MDM hubs. Containerization & Deployment Hands-on experience with OpenShift / Kubernetes for deploying and managing MDM workloads. Automation & Scripting Strong Python/Shell scripting skills for automation of onboarding, batch jobs, monitoring, and operations. Event Streaming Understanding of Kafka and its integration with MDM systems for real-time data pipelines. Nice to Have Skills: IBM Match360 knowledge. AI & Agents exposure (AI Agents, MCP, LangChain). Lakehouse Technologies (Iceberg, Delta, Hudi). Cloud MDM Deployments on IBM Cloud, Azure, or AWS. Data Governance Tools (IBM Knowledge Catalog, Collibra, Informatica Axon). Competitive MDM Tools (Talend, Informatica, Reltio, SAP MDG, Semarchy). ETL/ELT Tools (Talend, Informatica, DataStage, StreamSets).
