We are currently seeking a L3 IBM BigFix & Qualys Administrator to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Key Responsibilities

IBM BigFix Management:

• Manage and maintain the entire IBM BigFix infrastructure, including servers, relays, and clients across Windows and Linux environments.
• Design, develop, and deploy automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Shell scripting, Python) and custom Fixlers to streamline patch management and software distribution.
• Monitor patch deployments, compliance status, and endpoint health using the BigFix console and Web Reports.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for complex patching, deployment, or agent-related issues.
• Implement and manage security policies and configurations across all managed endpoints.

Qualys Management:

• Administer and configure the Qualys vulnerability management platform, including defining scanning policies and managing asset groups.
• Coordinate and execute regular vulnerability assessments and scans of the IT infrastructure.
• Analyze vulnerability data from Qualys scans, prioritize remediation efforts based on risk, and generate detailed reports for management and compliance audits.
• Collaborate with the Security team to align Qualys detections with available patches and remediation actions within BigFix.

General & L3 Support:

• Integrate BigFix and Qualys with other IT systems, such as ServiceNow (ITSM platform), SIEM solutions, and monitoring tools, to ensure seamless operations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for all BigFix and Qualys related issues, providing L3/L4 support and mentorship to junior administrators.
• Plan and manage system upgrades, architecture changes, and disaster recovery strategies for both platforms.
• Ensure all processes and systems comply with enterprise security protocols and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI, HIPAA).
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, operational standards, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 7+ years of experience in endpoint management and vulnerability management, with a strong focus on IBM BigFix and Qualys.
• Technical Skills:
• • Expert proficiency in IBM BigFix/Endpoint Management platform operations, architecture, and advanced relevance language scripting.
• Strong working knowledge of the Qualys vulnerability management suite (VMDR).
• Expertise in Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line interfaces.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Shell scripting) for automation.
• Familiarity with networking concepts, security best practices, and ITIL processes.
• Soft Skills:
• • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on advanced troubleshooting and RCA.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and report to stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage complex, large-scale IT environments.
• Education/Certifications (Preferred):
• • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    Relevant certifications such as IBM Certified Deployment Professional - BigFix, Qualys certifications, CompTIA Security+, or ITIL.
