We are seeking a highly skilled
IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) & IBM DataPower Developer
to design, build, and secure enterprise-grade integration solutions. This hybrid integration + security role is ideal for professionals experienced in connecting diverse applications, APIs, and data sources within SOA or microservices environments.

Roles & Responsibilities

Integration Development

  • Design, develop, and implement complex integrations using IBM ACE Toolkit.
  • Build message flows, transformation logic, and ESQL-based components.
  • Develop reusable integration assets, message models, and DFDL schemas.

Security & Gateway Configuration

  • Configure SSL/TLS, OAuth, WS-Security, JWT, and AAA policies on IBM DataPower.
  • Secure APIs and services using industry-standard authentication and encryption mechanisms.

API Development & Management

  • Build and secure REST/SOAP APIs using IBM API Connect and DataPower.
  • Work with XSD, WSDL, XSLT, JSON, and XML-based transformations.

Protocol Bridging & Data Transformation

  • Use DataPower MPGW and WSP for bridging heterogeneous protocols and systems.
  • Create XSLT, XML schemas, and related assets for data mapping and validation.

Cloud & Modernization

  • Assist in migration from IIB to ACE and containerized/cloud platforms (OpenShift, Cloud Pak for Integration).

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Provide L2/L3 support for integration platforms.
  • Diagnose issues, optimize performance, and handle production incidents.

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Work with Git/Bitbucket, Bamboo, and automated deployment pipelines.
  • Support continuous integration and release management practices.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work with architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements.
  • Prepare technical documentation and provide guidance during development cycles.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • IBM ACE (IIB):
    Strong experience in message flows, ESQL, Java, DFDL, ACE architecture.
  • IBM DataPower:
    Hands-on expertise in MPGW, WSP, XML Firewall, XSLT, XPath, GatewayScript.
  • Integration:
    Proficient in IBM MQ, REST, SOAP, XML, JSON.
  • Security:
    Strong understanding of OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS, digital certificates, encryption, and signatures.
  • Tools:
    Git, BitBucket, SOAP UI, Postman, CI/CD tools (Bamboo).
  • Scripting:
    Shell, Python, or JavaScript (GatewayScript) is a plus.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in
    Telecom domain
    is highly desirable.
