Role Overview

We are seeking a smart, detail-driven, and technically sound Procurement & Billing Engineer to manage end-to-end procurement and billing operations for our high-end residential projects in Ahmedabad.

This role involves close coordination with site teams, vendors, contractors, and internal departments to ensure smooth material flow, cost efficiency, and accurate billing aligned with project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

• Identify material and service requirements in alignment with BOQs, GFC drawings, and project timelines

• Source, negotiate, and procure materials and services at optimal cost without compromising on quality

• Issue and manage Purchase Orders (POs), coordinate approvals, and track delivery schedules

• Liaise with site teams and planning department for Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

• Maintain a strong local vendor network across Ahmedabad and surrounding areas

• Monitor stock levels to ensure timely availability while avoiding overstocking

• Evaluate vendor performance on pricing, quality, and delivery timelines

• Ensure procurement practices comply with internal standards and statutory norms

Billing & Costing

• Prepare and validate contractor/vendor bills based on physical progress and scope of work

• Coordinate with site engineers and PMC for measurement checks and bill certification

• Handle Running Account (R.A.) bills, final bills, reconciliation statements, and payment documentation

• Ensure quantity accuracy, rate compliance, and GST adherence in all billing activities

• Raise client invoices and support the accounts team with documentation and follow-ups

• Reconcile site stock and material usage with actual billing to avoid discrepancies

• Maintain all billing documentation for audits and financial reporting

• Track project costs and assist in cost-to-completion forecasting

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

• Experience: 4 to 6 years in real estate procurement and billing (developer experience preferred)

• Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of BOQs, GFCs, construction materials, GST billing norms

• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, ERP systems, and billing software

• Familiarity with vendor operations, rates, and construction practices in Gujarat

• Soft Skills:

• High attention to detail and process discipline

• Effective communication and vendor negotiation skills

• Strong documentation, cost tracking, and reporting ability

• Collaborative mindset to work with site, accounts, and planning teams
