Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Bengaluru for a SALES & APPLICATION ENGINEER. The engineer will be responsible for customer need analysis through study of requirements and site study. He is expected to physically visit and understand and recommend which solution/s work best and discuss the customisation of the same with the seniors and the design engineering team. Qualifications - Experience in Mechanical / Mechatronics hardcore application engineering - Knowledge of Automation systems and components - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to observe existing manufacturing processes employed by the customer and make note of potential improvements relevant to what Jiva offers - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering. - Sales Experience in a relevant industrial environment is essential. Position & Emoluments - This is an above start level engineer position. This is not a senior management role - Candidates with experience of minimum of 1 and up to 3 years are requested to apply - Candidates must be willing to travel within India to meet customers and study plant conditions. - Candidates are required to note that this is not a desk-bound job but that this essentially ONSITE / ON WORKSITE job role - The offered gross emoluments /CTC will vary between ₹25,000/month to ₹40,000/month depending upon education, experience and their capabilities as noted during the personal interviews - Freshers may apply mentioning as application for Fresher Sales Engineer Trainee. Selected candidates will receive a honorarium of ₹7500/month as Trainee for a period of 6 months and those who are further shortlisted, can be absorbed into the regular roles with regular salary as 'Probationary Sales Engineer'. - The opportunity is for immediate joining. - Please apply confirming your current CTC Travel Requirements - This work calls for regular work site visits and travel across India.
