We are looking for a Service Operations IP Lead to join our highly regarded Life Science search and analytics team part of the Global Service Operations team at Noida Office This is an amazing opportunity to work with our team consisting of 40 colleagues and is reporting to the Manager We have a great skill set in the team and we would love to speak with you if you have a very strong work ethic excellent attention to detail and experience working in the life sciences domain and adjacent technology domains About You - Experience education skills and accomplishments Minimum of B E B Tech degree in Biotechnology 2-4 years of IP experience on various Patent searches- FTO Patentability Novelty search Patent Landscaping Invalidity SOA etc Prior knowledge of Intellectual Property IP fundamentals and or Patent laws Ability to perform protein and nucleotide-based sequence searches and analyze sequence homology using public and proprietary sequence platforms will be an added advantage Hands-on experience on Patent and Non-patent databases including Sequence Search databases Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Excel proficiency in PowerPoint and ability to ramp quickly on a variety of analytical patent tools Capable of working on individual projects as well as in a team environment It would be great if you also have - M Sc M Tech M E Ph D degree in Biotechnology Self-starter and meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to partner on projects with others working across the IP organization Strong communication and presentation skills What will you be doing in this role Primary role will be to perform patent search projects including patentability state-of-art FTO and invalidity searches in the life sciences domain and adjacent technology domains Searching in different patent databases and analyzing patent publications Searching and analyzing non-patent literature Perform various other types of patent analyses such as claims mapping portfolio analysis patent categorization patent valuation and infringement analysis etc Initial scoping and providing quotes for the projects from Global customers About the TeamThe position is for an IP SME in the Life Science search and analytics team at Noida Office This team is responsible for providing various IP search support to the Global customers The team consists of a senior IP Analyst an IP Lead and a manager Hours of Work40 working hours a week with flexible time between 08 00 AM - 08 00 PM IST and this is a permanent role At Clarivate we are committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all persons with respect to hiring compensation promotion training and other terms conditions and privileges of employment We comply with applicable laws and regulations governing non-discrimination in all locations Clarivate
