Key Responsibilities1 Material Procurement Identify material requirements based on project specifications and BOQ Bill of Quantities Source and procure construction materials like cement steel aggregates electrical and plumbing items etc Issue purchase orders and ensure delivery timelines are met 2 Vendor Management Identify evaluate and negotiate with potential suppliers vendors Develop and maintain an approved list of suppliers Conduct vendor assessments and performance reviews 3 Cost Control Budget Adherence Procure materials within the project budget Obtain competitive quotations and ensure best-value purchasing Assist in value engineering efforts to reduce costs without compromising quality 4 Inventory Coordination Coordinate with site store in-charge for stock level monitoring Ensure materials are delivered in alignment with work schedules Prevent overstocking or understocking of key construction items 5 Quality Assurance Ensure that procured materials conform to project specifications and quality standards Coordinate with the QA QC team for material inspection and approvals 6 Documentation Reporting Maintain proper records of purchase orders delivery challans and invoices Prepare daily weekly monthly purchase reports Ensure proper documentation for audit and compliance 7 Coordination with Other Departments Work closely with project managers engineers stores and finance teams Understand project timelines to prioritize urgent procurement needs Coordinate logistics for material delivery and unloading at site 8 Compliance Ethics Ensure procurement complies with company policies and legal regulations Practice transparency and avoid conflicts of interest in vendor dealings Skills Competencies Required Strong negotiation and communication skills Knowledge of construction materials and supply chain management Proficiency in ERP or procurement software Analytical thinking and cost awareness Time management and multitasking abilities Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay From 15 304 50 per month Benefits Health insurance Provident Fund Schedule Day shift Work Location In person Expected Start Date 01 07 2025
