We've come a long way, but there's still much more to achieve and that's where you come in Role Description We are hiring a Business Development Officer for a full-time, on-site role in Chennai. In this role, you will drive business growth by identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver value. Key Responsibilities - Identify and analyze market and industry trends to discover new opportunities. - Generate and qualify leads through research, outreach, and networking. - Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the key point of contact. - Coordinate with sales, production, and customer service teams for smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction. - Conduct client meetings, prepare proposals, and follow up on submitted quotes. - Support new product implementation in collaboration with technical and NPD teams. - Manage contracts, renewals, and client documentation. - Track performance, prepare reports, and share insights with management. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. - 24 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (preferably in technical/manufacturing industries). - Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. - Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office. - Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across departments. - Proficiency in Tamil and English. Extra Advantage: Experience in account management within the manufacturing sector. Knowledge of additional languages.
