Job Description US Tax Associate (1-3Years Experience) Seeking a motivated U.S. Tax Associate with 13 years of experience to support tax preparation and compliance for individual and business clients. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of federal and multi-state taxation, experience preparing various tax returns, and strong analytical skills. This role involves assisting with tax filings, conducting basic research, maintaining workpapers, and collaborating with senior team members to ensure accurate and timely deliverables. Key Responsibilities: A minimum of 3 years of significant US tax experience in a public accounting firm or industry position with substantial exposure on taxation of U.S., Experience in Tax reporting and compliance requirements. Preparing tax returns of Individual Tax Return Form 1040, Trust returns Form 1041, Multi-State Returns and international tax Reporting forms like, FINCEN FORM 114, Form 8938, 5471, 5472 etc. Business Tax return like C Corporate 1120, S Corporation 1120S and Partnership Tax return 1065 experience is a plus Manage end-to-end tax compliance. Responsible for completing all assigned tasks accurately and within the defined processing time frame. Coordinate with senior team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tax engagements. Qualifications: - Qualification: Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate - Experience: 1-3 years in US Taxation. - Experience with tax software like Lacerte is a plus - The candidate must exhibit effective communication and drafting skills and show a work-based commitment to developing a career in customs matters. - Ability to work independently - Active communicator and a great team player - Ability to be flexible with scheduling to meet workflow demands
