We operate with an on-shore/off-shore model to help accounting firms transform and maintain a prominent position in the industry. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Tax Associate. You will be responsible for reviewing and also preparing tax returns. You will be located at our Chennai office. The role requires attention to detail, analytical skills, lead teams, work with management, talk to clients directly and take complete ownership in working with US partners. Job Description - Minimum 5 years of experience in partnership and corporate US Tax returns - An Individual should have previous experience of at least 5 years with Tax Review and Preparation of US Corps including 1065, 1120 and 1120s. - Proficiency in preparing tax returns ranging from basic to complex for companies and partnerships.. - Thorough preparation and review of tax returns completed by the team. - Experience working on Tax softwares like UltraTax, CCH Axcess, Lacerte, Pro series etc. - Review a variety of financial documents to prepare tax returns and provide tax services. - Staying updated with tax regulations and industry developments through active participation in educational opportunities and training programs. - Conducting comparisons between the current return and prior years returns to identify any missing information - Providing training to team members and addressing their queries effectively. - Conducting self-reviews of completed work and tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance. - A good understanding of tax concepts in general and accounting principles. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment. - Demonstrate positive attitude, collaborate and work as one team. - Ability to manage teams and work with US clients - Capable of developing and managing a team of tax professionals - Capable of effectively developing and maintaining client relationships Must Have Senior Tax Associate - Minimum 5+ years of experience. - Experience with 1065,1120,1120s and 1040 (optional) forms. - Experience with CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, Pro series etc. Qualifications - Tax Preparation and Tax Law knowledge and experience - Experience with financial statements and finance principles - Analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field - CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (or in the process of pursuing) or relevant experience in US Tax Laws - Handle busy season work
