THE ROLE

You'll join the Hunger Inc. familyhome to some of Mumbai's most talked-about spots, including The Bombay Canteen, O Pedro, Bombay Sweet Shop, Veronica's and Papa'sso yes, we're kind of a big deal in the Mumbai food scene. WHO YOU ARE
You're not just someone answering phones or handling reservationsyou're the person who shapes the guest's entire experience. You know how to balance professionalism with warmth, ensuring everyone feels right at home. You're detail-oriented, organized, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

You have strong communication skills and can effortlessly handle guest inquiries while maintaining the highest standards of service. Whether you're handling a special request or guiding someone through our latest menu, you know how to make each guest feel important.

YOUR TEAM
You'll be part of an incredible teamworking closely with the restaurant managers, captains, and service staff to ensure everything runs smoothly. You'll inspire them with your passion for excellent service, and your ability to build relationships with both guests and your team. You'll also collaborate with the Hunger Inc. crewmarketing, PR, and operationsto create memorable moments for our guests.

WHO YOU WILL REPORT TO
You'll report directly to the Restaurant Manager, someone who shares your passion for delivering exceptional service, and together, you'll ensure that The Bombay Canteen continue to be some of the best places to dine in Mumbai.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

- Guest Experience: From the moment the guest walks in or calls, you'll ensure they feel welcomed, valued, and taken care of. Every phone call, reservation, and in-person interaction will be a chance to shine.

- Reservations & Inquiries: You'll handle all reservations and inquiries with precision and care, ensuring the team has all the information they need to deliver an excellent guest experience.

- Team Coordination: You'll assist in ensuring the team is always informed and prepared, with a smooth flow of information between front-of-house and kitchen.

- Guest Engagement: You'll be proactive about remembering guest preferences, past visits, and special requests to ensure we deliver a personalized experience every time.

- Administrative Support: Assist with reservation software, ensuring accuracy and timely confirmation of bookings, and maintaining proper guest records.

- Safety & Sanitation: Ensure that all safety and sanitation policies are followed, helping to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.

SKILLS

- Organized: You can juggle a variety of tasks at oncewhether it's managing multiple phone lines, confirming reservations, or assisting with guest inquiries, you're always on top of things.

- Communication: You excel in both written and verbal communication, interacting effortlessly with guests and team members.
