Responsibilities Key Deliverables - Responsible for conducting Multi location trials new varieties for evaluation and existing varities for better agronomy POP development - Reviews trial evaluation sheets and protocols and works alongside with R D Team to ensure all categories and information is updated summarizing all trial data reports - Summarize Analyze the data between regions to understand and provide intepretations for product launch re-test rejection - Provide realistic assessment of product performance and potential Help the R D and Business Head making decisions - Regular monitoring of trials in India for performance documentation and data collection to ensure quality and accuracy of data - Collect data for launch material during field visit i e photos trial data and key characteristics of product - Providing inputs to R D to help decide breeding objectives for future by conducting QFD in different product market segments Production team for taking decision - Selection of vatieties and testing the same in target markets in small volumes through sales channel and compile observations by farmers and come up with region specific agronomic practices for maximising yield Statistical annalysis and inferance derivation from trial results - Help Sales Marketing Department to decide on strategy of such identified products Coordinate with CPRI ICAR SAUs for nomination of pipelines for CPRI ICAR SAU trials and liasion with the institutions for obtaining the results while travelling in markets keep collecting observing the trends and price points and any other feedback for MHZPC and other players in market general information and share a MIS after every trip for use by Senior management Job Requirements Experience years 2-3 years experience in Product Development role in vegetable seeds potato Field working knowledge about trialing Industry Preferred Seed potato seed CPRI CPRS Qualification M Sc Ph D in agronomy plant breeding vegetable science Personality Traits Leadership Competencies 1 Result Orientation with Execution Excellence 2 Customer Focus 3 Innovation Led Transformation 4 Leveraging Human Capital General Requirements - Communicates effectively - both oral and written - Ready to travel extensively - Able to get along with people and build relationships - Effectively builds professional networks within and outside the organization Farmers Agri Universities - Effectively plans prioritizes deploys and reviews completion of initiatives - Effectively collaborates with and influences people both internal external for achieving the results Functional Competencies Skills critical for the job - Understanding and experience in agriculture production - Excellent product knowledge - in terms of product offerings technical know-how features benefits Seeds - Excellent knowledge of the market customer customer requirements competitor products market potential market intelligence - Good proficiency in MS-Office Usage of power point for making presentations is critical Good proficiency in Design of Experiments and Data analysis using breeding software Names of Companies from where we can get this talent McCain Hyfun Pepsico vegtable seed industry CPRI ICAR Job Segment Scientific Engineering
