Tool Room Engineer Maintenance and Root Cause Analysis Job Description Impact/: Achieving maximum tool uptime and zero unplanned interruptions is critical to the future of high/-precision production. In order to reduce production losses, we are developing a dynamic tool room operation that makes use of cutting/-edge diagnostic methods and quick repair procedures. In order to ensure that every tool, mould, or die is returned to production readiness with the speed and accuracy required by a continuous manufacturing environment, this position is crucial. Key Responsibilities/: You will oversee every facet of emergency tool maintenance on your own. This entails answering line calls right away, diagnosing intricate moulds, dies, jigs, or fixtures at the expert level, and carrying out required repairs utilising methods like TIG welding, precision grinding, stoning, polishing, and bench fitting. The root cause analysis for tool malfunctions will be entirely your responsibility, which will have a direct impact on the fault recurrence rate. Our overall equipment effectiveness /(OEE/) and profitability will be directly and palpably impacted by your capacity to operate under pressure, correctly identify failure modes, and swiftly execute reliable, high/-precision repairs.
