Tool Room Engineer Breakdown Maintenance

Tool Room Engineer Breakdown Maintenance Job Description Experience/: 3/+ yrs Salary/: Based on Previous Experience Education/: Diploma/BE in Mech What You will do/: Rapid Breakdown Response/: You will be the primary responder to all unscheduled breakdowns involving production tooling and the conventional/CNC machinery used in the tool room, performing immediate, effective repairs to restore operation quickly. Diagnose and Troubleshoot/: You will conduct quick and accurate diagnosis of complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults on tooling and tool/-room equipment, utilizing blueprints, schematics, and precision measuring instruments. Execute Tool Repair/: You will perform detailed and corrective repairs on production tools, which may include welding, grinding, machining, fitting, and assembly of complex tool components while maintaining strict dimensional tolerances. Root Cause Analysis /(RCA/)/: You will document all breakdown occurrences, diligently perform root cause analysis on critical failures, and collaborate with the Preventive Maintenance /(PM/) team to develop and implement long/-term solutions to prevent recurrence. Maintain Equipment/: You will ensure all tool room equipment is kept in optimal working condition, performing urgent repairs as needed to support tool modification and build tasks.
