Mold Maintenance & Breakdown Handling Attend to breakdowns in production molds and perform root cause analysis to minimize Down time. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance plans for molds as per schedule. Ensure timely mold cleaning, polishing, greasing, and part replacements. Handle hot runner and cold runner systems independently. Maintain high standards of mold condition to achieve consistent part quality. 2. Technical Skills & Knowledge Strong knowledge of injection molds /(2/-plate, 3/-plate, and hot runner/). Well/-versed in ejection systems, hydraulic cylinders, and core pull mechanisms. Skilled in TIG/MIG welding, spark erosion, and mold fitting/matching operations. Familiar with mold dismantling, assembly, and trial activities. Ability to interpret mold drawings and component details. 3. Documentation & Process Compliance Maintain mold history cards, breakdown logs, and preventive maintenance records. Update tool maintenance checklists, reports, and ERP entries daily. Ensure compliance with internal quality and safety standards. Support audit documentation /(customer/ISO/IATF/). 4. Vendor & Customer Coordination Liaise with mold suppliers for refurbishment, spares, and modification works. Coordinate with the production, quality, and NPD teams for mold/-related concerns. Follow up with external tool rooms for rework and progress tracking. 5. Continuous Improvement & Cost Control Suggest improvements to enhance mold life and reduce maintenance costs. Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and TPM initiatives in the tool room. Support localization or indigenization of tool spares and consumables. Salary Attractive package, based on experience and negotiable.
