Job Description Job Reference # 320284BR Job Type Full Time Your role Are you excited about playing a key role in keeping UBS competitive in an increasingly digitized worked We are looking for an Tech Support Analyst to: - Be responsible for providing hands-on Level 2 production support of Wealth Management Americas Advisory suite of applications. - Govern production support execution aligned to existing ITIL framework. - Follow effective and efficient operational policies, processes and procedures - Effective communication with stake holders. - Involve in automations, code debugging, Incident resolution, service request resolution. - Involve in SRE and Automation initiatives and be part of organization and project's strategic initiatives. - Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements Your team - We are looking for an analyst who will be working with the WMA Advisory development and support teams based out of USA and India. - The Hosting Services team provides quality services to ensure end-to-end production stability and availability by combining optimized utility services with dedicated centers of expertise, ensuring business aligned support, always aiming to foster on customer / user needs. - Our measure of success is two-fold clear and recognized benefits into the L2 line teams and standardization of core ITIL practices at a high maturity level. Your expertise - Ideally 6 to 9 years of hands-on experience with Unix, Oracle, Sybase, Autosys, Java, Informatica and cloud/azure related technologies. - Monitoring tools such as Azure, AppInsight and AppDynamics - all are very valuable skills - This role requires code debugging, quick responses to Incidents with expertise in Java, Unix and Oracle. This role is critical to support multiple Tier 1 applications within WMA. - Should be flexible to work in rotation and for weekend support. - The Business requests needs detailed code analysis interacting with multiple teams upstream and downstream. - Need to be a good team player and drive the team to help resolve technical issues. - Knowledge of trading related applications and architecture. - Ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking - Track record of influencing senior IT stakeholders and business partners - Confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences - Capable of understanding client needs and translating this into products and services About Us UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
