Lead Design Engineer for DamLNT LDEFD 886066 Heavy Civil InfrastructureHaryana Sites Posted On 15 Jul 2024 Required Experience 10 - 15 Years Skills Knowledge Posting Location DAM DESIGN PLANNING Minimum Qualification B TECH B E M TECH Responsibilities Plan coordinate manage monitor the engineering designs and drawings related to Hydropower projects particularly Dam of all categories viz CFRD AFRD Concrete Gravity Roller Compacted Concrete etc Review of the structural hydraulic and thermal analysis design of Dam Stability analyses of dams and other related structures Responsible for producing a compliant constructible design in accordance with requirements of Client Operation Maintenance and Construction Making recommendations identify alternative solutions and optimization opportunities that could impact the design and site operations based on the strategy determined Preparation of the monthly activity reports Responsible for the relevant multi-disciplinary engineering coordination Ensure fluid communication between the project management team design team construction team and the various internal and external stakeholders Strong liaison with Clients PMC and actively respond to technical queries to ensure timely approval Coordination with the designer Consultant monitoring the design progress and ensure the timely delivery of design documents drawings Liaison with the project site team to agree on engineering solutions for further design development Participate in project review meetings and project milestone meetings Participate lead tender preparation within defined deadlines understanding customer requirements identifying risks and presenting work to the higher management Continuous review and improvement of the overall program strategy Ensure that the design produced follow appropriate engineering processes and in line with the Clients Core Values and in accordance with their Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedure Actively supervising the engineering tasks providing guidance mentoring to the team and nurturing their talent Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met Desired Profile Highly skilled in Dam Design with minimum 8 to 15 years of experience Experienced with design of Concrete Gravity Dams Rock and Earth fill dams RCC dams etc Candidate should have sound knowledge of Indian International Codes and Standards Candidate must have Computer literate with good understanding of industry design analysis software STAAD Pro ABAQUS MIDAS etc Experience in CFD applications would be an advantage Candidate must have Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time Proven skills in managing teams to work in sync with the corporate objectives for achieving business individual goals Proven leadership negotiation skills professionalism organizational capacity and ability to effectively transfer knowledge and provide training to resources Team-player positive engaged contributor to the team willingness to learn adapt to business needs Ability to travel to site and offices of other stakeholders to resolve project issues as and when required
